With cables no less! (The pattern is in One Skein by Leigh Radford) They're not perfect and I can see every flaw but not bad for a first try. Now I just have to find time to finish the mate.
Actually, I did attempt socks once before. They were the tube type so no challenge with the heel flap. I decided I would never wear them so I turned them into wrist warmers. I still don't wear them.
Tomorrow we're off to Europe so no new posts for a month or so. (Like I'm usually really prolific in posting... *rolls eyes*)
